Starting in September 2026, we are launching a tour that takes you on a roughly 40-minute cruise from Chatan to land on and explore Nagannu Island—part of the Kerama Islands National Park!
We invite you to a breathtaking, secluded paradise—the quintessential uninhabited island—featuring emerald-blue waters and pristine white sands 🌴
You will spend about four hours on the island, where you can relax and enjoy swimming at the beach. Parasol and beach chair rentals are free ⛱, and a curry rice lunch is included 🍛
You can also go snorkeling using your own gear or by renting equipment on-site.
The island is fully equipped with restrooms, showers, changing rooms, and lockers, as well as a dining terrace and a shop; despite being an uninhabited island, the excellent facilities ensure a comfortable day out ✨ Guests ranging from infants to those around 75 years old are welcome to join, so please come along with your whole family to create wonderful memories😊

What is Nagannu Island?

Located approximately 20 km southwest of Chatan, Nagannu Island is an uninhabited island situated within the waters of the Kerama Islands—an area designated as a national park in 2015. As there is no regular ferry service, this exclusive island is accessible only by four specially licensed vessels in Okinawa. A large pier allows you to walk directly onto the island without getting wet. The moment you step ashore, you will be captivated by the dreamlike scenery of the vast emerald-blue sea and pristine white sandy beach.

While there are many boat tours around the Kerama Islands, this is the only one that allows you to land on an uninhabited island. Enjoy a blissful time relaxing on the beach rather than spending the entire day on the boat.

Many uninhabited islands lack facilities such as restrooms and running water, and require extensive preparation beforehand to secure essentials like fresh water, shade, and means of communication or transport. However, since Nagannu Island is an uninhabited island equipped with proper facilities, even families with children can enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.

[Main Facilities and Amenities] Pier, service counter, shower rooms (hot water available), lockers, changing rooms, first-aid room, dining terrace (restaurant/parlor), rest cottage (gazebo), flush toilets (2 locations).

Operated using our large cruiser.

We will take you to Nagannu Island comfortably and speedily aboard the *Isami-go*, a large cruiser with a capacity of 60 passengers. The vessel features a covered area, a dry room protected from wind and rain, and separate flush toilets for men and women.

You can also enjoy photo spots

At the island’s entrance, you’ll find plenty of memorable photo spots, such as a striking “NAGUNNU ISLAND” monument and a swing made from natural wood.

Includes a lunch

You can enjoy complimentary curry rice at the dining terrace on the island. Please take your time and enjoy your meal while gazing out at the beautiful sea. Hot meals, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.
